Front Runner WTAN029 Premium Water Tank Hose Kit
A Water Tank Hose Kit for your Front Runner water tanks with brass pipe fittings.
Consists of:
1x 10mm (0.4″) diameter x 1500mm (59.1″) length of clear hose
5x Hose clamp
3x Straight tank to pipe brass fittings
1x Metal tap
Based in South Africa, Frontrunner makes a range of overlanding equipment, notably roof racks, cargo cases and water storage tanks. Their water jerrycans are made from sturdy BPA-free, food-grade polyethylene, in an opaque black plastic that discourages bacteria growth. These have some of the thickest plastic of the jerrycans available anywhere.
One notable design feature of these cans is that the tap at the bottom of the can is recessed so that the spout is tucked within the outer edges of the can. This allows you to put the can into a jerry holder without the spout getting in the way.
Even without a dedicated can holder, it makes the tap less likely to become damaged. Frontrunner makes single and double jerrycan holders designed to work with their proprietary rack systems.

Legend has it that Front Runner was conceived between a 1988 Land Cruiser 70 and a 1992 Mercedes G-Wagen in Botswana, around a campfire, near a majestic Baobab, amongst elephant tracks, by a handful of friends from South Africa with backgrounds in engineering, design, manufacturing and off-road racing. After suffering through numerous equipment failures on their expeditions around the world, they decided to take their shared passion for vehicle based adventure travel and dream up new, smart gear and build it stronger than… well, as they put it, “stronger than the elephants at the watering hole 1 klick over.”
And just like that, before the moon gave way to the sun, we were born.
