MAXTRAX REAR WHEEL HARNESS

The  Rear Wheel Harness lets you safely and securely carry your MAXTRAX on your vehicle’s rear-mounted spare tyre. Quick and simple to install, the harness makes it easy to quickly grab your MAXTRAX when you need them in a hurry and means you can carry dirty ones without dropping sand, mud or snow in or on your vehicle. The harness will carry up to 5 MAXTRAX (or 4 really dirty ones that won’t stack together neatly) and includes a pouch to hold your fixing pegs and linking straps. *PLEASE NOTE: The Harness is designed to suit vehicles where there is easy access behind the spare wheel mount, typically with an aftermarket swing away carrier or rear bar such as Kaymar.

WHERE DID MAXTRAX COME FROM?

Brad McCarthy, author of Dirty Weekends “The Essential 4WD Guides”, devised the idea for MAXTRAX in 2001. After a particularly stressful incident on a remote north Queensland beach where he almost lost his bogged vehicle to the incoming tide. Brad’s passion for the Australian bush, exploration and adventure sent him out, often solo throughout Queensland, to research bush tracks and locations to feature in his guide books.

In November 2010, the new MAXTRAX MKII won 2 Global Media Awards for Best New Product at the 2010 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV, USA. Not a bad result for a 5-year-old ‘little Aussie company’ on its first visit to SEMA!
